Week 7

 We got back to teaching this week after an unfortunate break - last week Abaan and I couldn't teach due to it also being Professional Day. Our learners were excited to get back to learning English and seemed to enjoy class. This week we continued with verbs, except our focus was on dialogue and conversation, rather than just grammatical exercises. It was a special class for us, because we were following the lesson plan we had created for Community Service Learning. Although it was shorter than the plans we usually follow, it turned out to be successful, because the activities were both, enjoyable and educational for our learners.

 

Towards the end of class, Prince and Abhay stopped by to tell the learners about their performance on April 15th and teach them the song. We had some enthusiastic singers, but most of the class was too shy to sing.
